How it was built
Brume Noire began as an attempt to make iris behave like stone rather than powder. The orris is from Tuscany, rested three years before distillation, and it carries a mineral edge that most iris loses.
Vetiver from Les Cayes sits underneath at 4%, high enough to pull the iris down and keep it from turning cosmetic. The ambrette in the opening is there to make the first minutes feel damp.
